Heat4Cool is a project that has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme for energy efficiency and innovation action under agreement No. 723925. However its implementation would not be possible without the involvement of the Heat4Cool partners. The Heat4Cool Consortium consists of 13 European partners from the energy sector (manufacturers, energy solution providers, service providers, research centres and scientific-technological universities) and each of them has a specific role in the project.
The kick off meeting took place in Brussels on 6 and 7 September 2016 where all the partners participating in the Consortium gathered to discuss about technical issues related to the project and explain in detail their different roles. The partners are:

- the European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) and
- the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Hochschule Luzern).
Heat4Cool proposes an innovative, efficient and cost-effective solution to optimize the integration of a set of rehabilitation systems in order to meet the net-zero energy standards. The project develops, integrates and demonstrates an easy to install and highly energy efficient solution for building retrofitting that begins from the Heat4Cool advanced decision-making tool and leads to the optimal solution combining adsorption heat pumps, solar systems and energy recovery from sewage water.
